Man killed in Kildare car accident

A man has died following a car accident in Co Kildare.

William Lanigan, 45, from Mountarmstrong died when he was struck by a van at around 8pm last night.

The incident happened at Baltracey near Naas.

He's the second pedestrian to be killed on the roads in under 24 hours.
