Search resumes in West Cork for missing man

The search for 22-year-old Jonathan Herlihy is underway again in West Cork this morning.

He has been missing since last Sunday when he and another man went to the aid of two swimmers who got into difficulty in the sea at Owenahincha Beach.

A number of vessels, a rescue helicopter as well as numerous land based volunteers are taking part in the search.

Those co-ordinating the search have said weather conditions and visibility is good this morning.
