Search continues for second man missing off Cork coast
Rescuers in Co Cork are continuing to search for the body of a man who drowned while saving the lives of two swimmers near Clonakility on Sunday.
Twenty-two-year-old Jonathan Herlihy was one of two men who jumped into the sea to rescue two swimmers who were in difficulties off Owenahincha beach.
They successfully delivered a life buoy to the swimmers, but were then pulled out to sea themselves.
The body of the other man, 37-year-old Peter O'Keefe, was recovered by a local trawler yesterday evening.
