The Government has approved €9m in funding for a range of marriage, child and bereavement counselling services and supports.

The Government has approved €9m in funding for a range of marriage, child and bereavement counselling services and supports.

The Minister for Social and Family Affairs, Seamus Brennan allocated the money to over 540 voluntary groups across the country.

More than 45 groups will get in excess of €40,000.

Marriage counselling services account for the bulk of this years funding, getting 58% of the grants.
