A French yacht carrying six passengers is due to be towed into Crosshaven harbour in Cork after experiencing difficulties earlier this morning.

A French yacht carrying six passengers is due to be towed into Crosshaven harbour in Cork after experiencing difficulties earlier this morning.

A lifeboat from Ballycotton, the Austin Lidbury, was called out to the yacht when it got into steering difficulties 40 miles off the coast.

No one was injured in the incident.
