A Fianna Fáil TD is threatening to withdraw his support for the Government if services at Roscommon County Hospital are downgraded.

A Fianna Fáil TD is threatening to withdraw his support for the Government if services at Roscommon County Hospital are downgraded.

Michael Finneran has made the threat following a proposal from the HSE to move all in-patient surgery to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

Mr Finneran says he has a mandate to maintain the Roscommon hospital and will not support the Government in the Dáil if the facility is downgraded.
