Man killed in Co Laois building site accident

A man has died following an accident at a building site in Stradbally in Co Laois this afternoon.

The man, who is believed to be in his mid 30s, was working at the site on the Carlow road.

The incident happened at around 4pm.

Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating.
