First quins celebrate fifth birthday

Ireland’s first quintuplets, the Cassidy brothers and sisters, celebrate their fifth birthday today at the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin.

The quins – Conor, Amy, Cian, Rory and Derbhail – were born there five years ago prematurely at 25 and a half weeks.

The famous five and mother and father Veronica and Kevin will celebrate the youngsters’ birthday with some of the staff who delivered and cared for the babies when they were born.
