Labour proposes increases in back-to-school allowances

The Labour Party has outlined plans to increase the back-to-school clothing and footwear allowance to €100 per child, should they get back into government.

The party also wants the income threshold for the scheme extended, so that more parents can get help to cover the costs of school uniforms and books.
