Body recovered from Mayo lake

The body of a 19-year-old man has been recovered from a lake in Mayo following a search by gardaí, local rescue groups and divers.

The man, who is from Islandeady near Castlebar, had been missing since a jetski accident on Lough Beltra yesterday evening.

The body has been brought to Mayo General Hospital where a post mortem is expected to be carried out later today.
