A memorial park honouring the victims of the Tuskar Rock tragedy has been officially opened today.

The Aer Lingus flight from Cork to London crashed off the Wexford coast in March 1968, killing all 61 passengers and crew on board.

Hundreds of people have turned out to pay their respects to those who lost their lives, and to admire the re-vamped park area which cost an estimated €80,000.

The park was constructed by the Rosslare Harbour Environmental Group.
