Fire-fighter injured battling Trinity College blaze

A fire-fighter has been injured while battling a blaze at Trinity College in Dublin last night.

The fire started in one of the laboratories at the Smurfit Institute of Genetics and Pharmacology shortly before 9pm.s

Three units of Dublin Fire Brigade managed to quench the blaze near the Lincoln Place gate entrance of the college sometime after midnight.

It is not yet known what caused the fire.
