Dáil hunger striker hospitalised

A Dublin man who has been on hunger strike outside the Dáil for more than two months has reportedly been hospitalised due to his deteriorating condition.

Peter Preston, from Donnycarney, has been refusing to eat for 68 days in protest at the way the authorities have handled an assault on his daughter in a north Dublin pub.
