EPA to establish national environmental complaints system

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is warning illegal dumpers and industries with poor waste-management records of a major crackdown.

The first annual report from the agency's Office of Environmental Enforcement (OEE) reveals that complaints about odours at landfill sites and industrial facilities rose from 366 to 657 last year.
