Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry into this morning's stabbing in Dublin in which a 26-year-old Englishman was injured.

The man, who is in a critical but stable condition in hospital, was stabbed a number of times following a row outside a house on Cashel Road in Crumlin.
