Irish man arrested by Spanish police in 'Westies' probe

An Irish man has been arrested by Spanish police investigating the discovery of two bodies, believed to be those of two members of the infamous Dublin drugs gang the "Westies".

The man was arrested at his home near Alicante in southern Spain this morning.

The two bodies' remains were found under six feet of concrete in an industrial park yesterday.

They are believed to be those of Shane Coates and Stephen Suggs, leaders of the ‘Westies’ gang, who have been missing for two and a half years.
