Toddler killed in car park tragedy

A 15-month-old child was killed tonight when she was struck by a vehicle in a car park.

The little girl was struck by the car at Carrigaline Community Complex, Co Cork, at 6.30pm.

The toddler was pronounced dead at Cork University Hospital.

Traffic accident investigators from Carrigaline Garda Station are examining the scene, which has been cordoned off.
