Gardaí holding teenager in relation to Cork arson attack

A teenager remains in Garda custody in Cork this morning in connection with an arson attack on the home of a city councillor.

The 17-year-old is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. A second youth has been released without charge.
