SDLP man targeted in campaign of intimidation

Dissident republicans are being blamed for planting a suspicious object outside the home of a SDLP Assemblyman in Derry this morning.

Pat Ramsey, a member of the local policing partnership, spotted the object outside his home in the Bogside area this morning.

More than 10 such items have been left outside his house in the past as part of a campaign of intimidation by dissident republicans opposed to his involvement in the policing arrangements.
