The pair were discovered this morning while a furniture delivery was being unloaded from the vehicle at Wolfe Tone Street in the city centre.

They have been taken to Store Street garda station for processing. The truck has been taken away for forensic examinations.

Gardaí were unable to say where the delivery originated or how long the asylum-seekers may have been in the back of the vehicle.
