Unions representing Psychiatric Nurses have postponed their threat of strike action.

Nurses had expected an offer from the Government today on a compensations scheme for workers assaulted in the workplace.

They threatened industrial action after no offer was made, but the Government has since scheduled another meeting for next Thursday.

A spokesman for the nurses said his members would postpone their decision until they saw the details of the offer.
