Irish peacekeepers fund eye operation for Kosovan girl

An eleven-year-old Kosovan girl is due to undergo complex eye surgery today sponsored by Irish peacekeepers stationed in the war-torn province.

Albiona Jashari was blinded in one eye when she was caught in the crossfire during a land dispute between two families in April.
