Lecturers to take action over dwindling funding for languages

Lecturers at Trinity College and UCD claimed that subjects such as German, French and other languages could be gone within a decade if funding continues to dwindle.

The academics said that arts and humanities are being sacrificed to the benefit of science subjects, which are perceived to be the money spinners.
