Gardaí trying to identify body washed up on Kerry beach

Gardaí in Kerry are seeking the public's help in identifying the body of a woman that was washed up on a beach this morning.

The discovery was made by joggers at Rossbeigh beach at around 7.30am.

The woman was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a blue and white horizontal striped t-shirt and black low-heel shoes.

She is believed to be in her 40s and is 5 feet 5 inches in height with brown hair.

Gardaí are not treating the death as suspicious, but anyone with information is asked to contact them at Caherciveen garda station.
