Oral hearing into Monaghan incinerator to open today

An oral hearing into plans to build a waste incinerator on the Monaghan-Tyrone border is due to get underway today.

Monaghan County Council initially refused planning permission for the plant, but the company appealed the ruling to An Bord Pleanaála.
