Garda appeal after fatal crash

Gardaí appealed for witnesses today after a fatal road crash in Co Westmeath.

The female driver of a car was killed after a crash with a truck on the Kilbeggan Road at Dalystown at about 4pm on Tuesday, June 20.

The woman, who was in her 50s, was alone in the car at the time of the crash. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

Gardaí have asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact officers at Mullingar Station.
