Man due in court in connection with Dundalk murder
A 38-year-old man is due to appear in court later today in connection with the murder of a man in the Dundalk.
The body of a local man in his 40s was found in a house in the Castletown road area in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He had multiple injuries, and it is believed he suffered a violent death.
It is understood the victim had lived in a town hostel before moving to the house on Woodview Terrace.
Gardaí in Drogheda are continuing to question another man in his 30s, who was also arrested yesterday in connection with the murder.
