PSNI attacked by gang in North

Police in the North say they were attacked by a gang armed with bottles and bricks last night.

They were attempting to protect the occupants of a van which had broken down on the Maghera Road who were also being terrorised by the gang.

An Orange Hall in nearby Killygullib was petrol-bombed following the attack.

No one was seriously injured.
