The DUP is seeking a two week extension on the British government's November 24 deadline for the restoration of power-sharing in the North.

The DUP claimed that as the Assembly has not met in two weeks, the deadline should be put forward.

It has selected party chairman Maurice Morrow and Willie McCrae as its members on the Preparation for Government Committee.

It is putting forward Ian Paisley Junior and Diane Dodds as alternates.
