Two motorcyclists killed in Louth, Waterford crashes
Two motorcyclists have died following separate road accidents in Co Louth and Co Waterford yesterday evening.
The first accident happened near Tramore in Co Waterford, when a motorcycle collided with a horse in the Kilmeaden area at around 6.30pm.
The 55-year-old man driving the motorcycle was killed. His pillion passenger was critically injured.
Around 90 minutes later, a second motorcyclist died when his bike collided with a car on the old Dundalk to Drogheda Road in Co Louth.
The driver of the car was seriously injured in the crash, which happened in Greengates just after 8pm.
