ICTU president says new pay deal 'still possible'

The president of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions has told IMPACT's annual conference in Killarney that a new national pay deal is still possible, but only if the will is there on both sides.

Negotiations on a pay agreement were scheduled to conclude last weekend, but they have been suspended until this Sunday due to the continuing gap between the positions of employers and trade unions.
