Motorcyclist dies after Armagh crash

A motorcyclist has died after his bike was involved in a crash in Co Armagh.

The accident happened on the main Loughgall to Portadown Road yesterday.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.

A PSNI spokesman appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to come forward.

Police said the accident on the Red Lion Road, at its junction with the Castleraw Road, involved a red Honda motorbike and a blue Renault Scenic.

A woman and a young child, who were travelling in the Scenic, sustained minor cuts and were treated for shock.
