The President of the National College of Ireland has announced her decision to stand down.

The President of the National College of Ireland has announced her decision to stand down.

Professor Joyce O'Connor, who'll be 60 next year, oversaw relocation of the university to the financial services centre in Dublin's docklands.

Student numbers increased twelve-fold to 6,000 during her 15-year tenure.
