Holohans shocked at publication of O’Donoghue interview
The parents of Robert Holohan are reported to be shocked and upset after the publication yesterday of an interview with the schoolboy's killer.
In a Sunday newspaper yesterday, Wayne O'Donoghue apologised for killing the 11-year-old, but insisted he was not a paedophile.
O'Donoghue from Ballyedmond in Midleton was acquitted of the murder of his neighbour Robert Holohan, but pleaded guilty to his manslaughter at the Central Criminal Court in Cork last December.
