Rescuers in bid to save stranded whale in Kerry

Efforts are being made to help a pilot bull whale stranded on a beach in Inch Co Kerry.

The alarm was raised shortly before 8am when the mammal was discovered by locals.

Volunteers are trying to keep the whale comfortable.

A spokesman for Dingle Ocean World said expert help is on its way to the scene.
