Insurers in warning over foreign drivers' cover

Foreign national drivers may not have adequate motor insurance cover to drive on Irish roads, it was claimed today.

Insurance chiefs have called on the Irish Government and the EU to review guidelines which allow vehicles registered abroad to use the state’s road network.
