Northern Secretary Peter Hain has said talks on the planned recall of the North's Assembly will get underway next week.

The British government is planning to recall the body in the middle of next month and give the North's parties until November 24 to reach a deal on forming a power-sharing Executive.

Mr Hain told the House of Commons in London yesterday that emergency legislation would be published to pave the way for the move and talks would get underway next week to discuss how the Assembly would function.
