Murder inquiry launched after fatal stabbing in Belfast

Police in the North have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man's body in the east of the city yesterday.

Police in the North have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man's body in the east of the city yesterday.

The body was found in a house on Tower Street, in the Lower Newtownards Road area, just before 5pm.

The victim, who was in his 40s, is believed to have been stabbed to death.

The PSNI says three people are helping police with their inquiries into the killing.
