PSNI launch murder probe after body find
Police in Belfast confirmed tonight they were treating as murder the discovery of a man’s body in a house in the east of the city.
Three people were being questioned by police following the discovery in Tower Street in the lower Newtownards Road area at around 4.45pm.
The victim was in his 40s.
Local sources do not believe he was the victim of a paramilitary or sectarian attack.
Detectives at Strandtown urged members of the public who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward.
