Hain: No devolution unless parties meet deadline

The Northern Secretary Peter Hain stated this afternoon that devolution will be off the agenda for the foreseeable future if parties cannot elect an Executive by November.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Peter Hain said there was nothing more that those outside Northern politics could do to facilitate the process.
