Gardaí not treating Clare body find as suspicious

Gardaí in Co Clare are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered on a roadside near the village of Feakle earlier today.

The body of the 42-year-old local man was found lying next to his bicycle on the Scarriff Road a short distance from the village at about 2.40am today.

Gardaí say they are not treating the death as suspicious for the time being and suspect the man may have fallen from his bicycle as he cycled home from a night out.

The road has been sealed off and a technical examination of the scene is underway.
