Passengers taken off Ryanair plane after 'security alert'
It is thought that passengers have left a Ryanair plane, believed to be a Boeing 737, which diverted to Glasgow Prestwick Airport after a security alert.
No flights were able to leave Prestwick as the incident continued, while flights due to land were being diverted to other airports.
It is understood that the Ryanair plane travelling from Paris to Dublin had to be diverted to Prestwick at around 2.20pm today.
