HSA report on Meath bus crash submitted to DPP
The Health and Safety Authority has reportedly submitted a file on last year's Co Meath school bus crash to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Five teenage schoolgirls died in the crash, which happened in the Kentstown area, near Navan, last May.
Shortly afterwards, the HSA criticised Meath County Council for failing to have a health and safety plan in place for roadworks that were taking place in the area at the time.
However, this morning's reports said the authority had not made any recommendations on the matter to the DPP.
Bus Éireann has already been charged with owning a defective vehicle.
