Three remanded on burglary charges

Three men who are accused of burgling the home of an elderly man in Fermoy before a high speed chase to Cork city in heavy traffic yesterday afternoon were remanded in custody today.

Detective Sergeant Michael Lewis said the car he was driving was rammed from behind by the car in which the raiders attempted to escape.
