Ahern and Blair to discuss contentious Assembly plan

The Taoiseach and British Prime Minister are due to meet on the margins of an EU summit in Brussels later today to discuss the plans for the way forward in the North.

Bertie Ahern and Tony Blair are expected to propose that the Northern Assembly be recalled for a set period of time without any power-sharing Executive.
