Eircom workers concerned over possible takeover

Trade unions representing eircom workers have raised concerns about a possible takeover by Australian investment group Babcock and Brown.

Representatives from Babcock and Brown have met with key eircom stakeholders and government officials over recent days. The company has said if its bid is successful, it will dismantle the company.
