A man in his 40s is in a stable condition in intensive care this afternoon, after he was shot in the back in Limerick last night.

A man in his 40s is in a stable condition in intensive care this afternoon, after he was shot in the back in Limerick last night.

The incident happened shortly before 11pm when a brick was thrown through a window of the victim's house in Rosbrien.
