Dáil demands proper British inquiry into Finucane murder

The Dáil has unanimously backed a motion calling on the British government to establish a full public inquiry into the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane.

London has set up an inquiry to investigate allegations of security force collusion in the 1989 killing, but it is being held under legislation that allows certain material to be kept secret.
