The Labour Party is seeking an independent investigation into the death of a 24-year-old man while in Garda custody this morning.

The man, who was being questioned about the murder of Donna Cleary in Dublin, was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital this morning after falling ill at Coolock Garda Station.
