A man in his early 20s has been killed following a road accident in Co Dublin.

A man in his early 20s has been killed following a road accident in Co Dublin.

He was a passenger in a car that went out of control and crashed into a wall at Ulverton Road in Dalkey around 3.30am today.

The driver of the car is being treated for his injuries at St Vincent's Hospital.

Elsewhere, a man in his 20's is died following a car crash in Limerick in the early hours of this morning.

The man was a back seat passenger in a car which collided with another vehicle at Ballmakill Beg in Castlemahon.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and removed to Limerick Regional Hospital.

The two other occupants of the car sustained minor injuries.

And a man in his 30's died when the car in which he was travelling was involved in a two-car collision at Navan in County Meath.
